Melodrift ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how information is collected, used, and safeguarded when using the Melodrift application on Android, Windows, and web platforms.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we access your basic public profile (display name, email address, and avatar image) solely to authenticate and identify your cloud library.
• Library & Preferences: Your custom playlists, favorites, and listening history are stored securely in your private cloud partition on Firebase Realtime Database.
• Local Cache: Downloaded audio files and local track indexes are saved directly on your device storage.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information exclusively to provide real-time library synchronization across your devices. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data. We do not track your location or read device files outside the app directory.

4. Third-Party Services

Melodrift communicates with public media APIs (YouTube Music / InnerTube and JioSaavn) to query metadata and stream audio. Interactions with these services are subject to their respective terms.

5. Data Deletion

You can sign out or clear your cloud data at any time from Settings > Account > Sign Out. To request complete deletion of your cloud records, contact us at the email below.
